Beitrag

Many of us knew Stephanie since the construction of ATLAS, when we were working together on the MDT and on the commissioning of muon stations. Then we continued when she was Muon and then ATLAS Run Coordinator. Finally, we joined together the new enterprise of the NSW project.

We all admired Stephanie for her depth of thinking; she was always a step ahead of all the others. She has been a reference for us. Even in areas in which she was not directly involved, we have always been looking for her wisdom and her judgment, and we will continue to ask ourselves what Stephanie would say or do when we will face new challenges.

Stephanie was a gentle person, always open to listen to the others and to understand the human side of a collaborative work.

The news of her passing away has been a profound shock for all of us. We feel that this is deeply unjust. We will miss her.

We would like to express our most sincere condolences to her family.
